The measurement of distribution cables may be very challenging and risky. For cables up to 2 inches in diameter, Keysight U1210 series (U1211A, U1212A, U1213A) hand-held clamp meters (also known as clamp ammeters) can measure large current without interrupting the circuit. In addition, they also provide additional protection layer through CAT IV 600 V and CAT III 1000 V safety ratings, and include all digital multimeter (DMM) measurement functions.
