The MDO-2000E series is a multifunctional mixed domain oscilloscope. This series includes four models: MDO-2000EG, MDO-2000EX, MDO-2000EC, and MDO-2000ES.

When operating the MDO-2000E spectrum analyzer, users can input the center frequency, sweep width, start frequency, and stop frequency according to test requirements, thereby quickly and intuitively observing the required frequency range, enabling users to experience the user interface of the direct real spectrum analyzer. When observing frequency domain displays, engineers can observe waveform characteristics that are not easily visible from time domain waveforms, such as the harmonic components of the waveform and the frequency characteristics of the modulated signal.
The FFT of a conventional oscilloscope always calculates the entire signal bandwidth as half the sampling rate (Fs). However, due to insufficient computing power, more points cannot be used for FFT calculations. Due to insufficient frequency resolution of the calculated results, users cannot obtain detailed frequency information of the signal. MDO-2000E analyzes the signal spectrum of interest. Compared to the FFT of an oscilloscope, engineers using the MDO-2000E series can effectively measure signals in the frequency domain.
The MDO-2000E spectrum analyzer also includes spectrum trajectory settings (normal, maximum hold, minimum baud, and average). Users can freely select various spectrum trajectories to display simultaneously. "The detection method (Sample,+Peak, - Peak, and Average) can be set separately for each track. In addition, users can manually mark the corresponding position through the cursor to reflect the frequency and amplitude. The search function can also be applied to the peak table of the spectrum.". The amplitude is displayed in dB, and the measurement data can be obtained by marking.
